Conference: 19th Annual Joint Fall Conference PWIA SWANA PAHMI – September 2017

It’s time for the annual PWIA/SWANA/PAHMI Joint Solid Waste Management Conference, scheduled for September 6 and 7 in downtown Harrisburg.  As always, LAW is looking forward to this exciting event.  Once again, our very own David Buzzell will be serving as the conference’s Master of Ceremonies, a role he has filled for the past twelve years.  LAW’s Mark Hammond will play a dual role this year – presenting on “The Status of Pennsylvania PUC Net Metering Rules and the Impact on Landfill Gas Recovery Systems,” as well as moderating the “Air Quality Updates” session.

As a firm, we are proud to continue our support of the conference as a Gold Sponsor, co-hosting a luncheon for all attendees with Keynote Speaker David Bodamer of Waste 360.  Mr. Bodamer will be presenting “Top Stories of the Year and How They Affect the Waste Industry.”

The Joint Conference, which is in its 19th year, is a collaboration between the Pennsylvania Waste Industries Association (PWIA), the Keystone Chapter of SWANA, and the Pennsylvania Association of Host Municipal Inspectors (PAHMI).  It serves as the premier technical and regulatory forum for the solid waste industry in Pennsylvania.  Attendees include decision makers from public and private sector interests, including state government, as well as other technical and legal professionals.  Additional information regarding the conference can be found at
